“We don't inherit the Earth, we borrow it from our children.” Native American proverb
We can no longer deny that our Planet is crying for help. Being from French Guiana (in the Amazon) makes me very sensitive to current issues such as global warming and climate change. This is the reason Y for Yoga is doing its part to make a difference. Talking about it, sharing, encouraging green actions and also being transparent about sustainable business practices is vital for progress and change.
So far, Y for Yoga has:
- created a little community library (free books & free seeds) in South Croydon, to serve our local community.
- committed to educate young children and adolescents about global warming and climate change through storytelling.
- been encouraging schools/community to reconnect young children and adolescents to nature and promoting green spaces.
